About Me

I graduated with a B.S. in Occupational Therapy in 1996. As an occupational therapist, we analyze issues, discover the disconnects and take steps to improve function. This is in the realm of “occupation” (hence "occupational therapist"), and in activities of daily living.

As an occupational therapist, I have trained in traditional medical model systems with a strong background in mental health. Additionally, I have extensive knowledge in alternative modalities to bridge the gaps that traditional medicine does not fill.

I have experience with people of all ages, from infants to the elderly. Through my experiences I have acquired a deep knowledge of the human condition, encompassing mental and physical health, nutrition, neurology, physiology, and the human psyche.

In addition to training in many other modalities, I intensively trained with Human Garage for well over 1,000 hours in 2024, becoming a fascial maneuvers coach that year.

Fascial Maneuvers—A Brief History

Human Garage began in Venice, California, as a clinic for athletes and artists. After 200,000 appointments, they learned that true healing comes from empowering individuals to take charge of their own health. In 2020, fascial maneuvers was launched creating powerful techniques developed to promote self-healing by reducing stress, relieving pain and releasing trauma. Fascial maneuvers were cultivated by taking the best and most effective parts of virtually every branch of body work—and putting them together into a cohesive, all-encompassing movement practice.
